Mercury 20HP 2006 prop question.
Hi , question.
Bought my engine last year sept. and going to take her out on holiday this summer. I haven't used the engine and it had a little service interval at the dealer when I bought it.
No I was just curious and I've noticed that when:
* The gear is in front I can turn the prop with my hand in the direction the prop must go - and also I hear a clic sound every 1/3 turn. The prop can't be turned by hand in the opposite direction.
* The gear is in reverse I can't turn the prop at all - not in both directions.
No I think that is strange - do I have to call the dealer on Monday or is this normal ??
