No no no
Putting more petrol in will only increase the mixture ratio ie 100:1 to say 120:1 for example
In one of your original posts "I put 10 litre of petrol and 100 0il." does make 100:1 - if the 100 was ml - for 10 litre of petrol you need to double the amount of oil to 200 ml to get 50:1

To get 50:1 with 15 litre of petrol you would need to mix in 300ml of good quality 2-stroke outboard oil. So if you already have 100ml of oil in then you need to add an additional 200ml of oil.
It is 2-stroke marine outboard oil that you are using?
The formula is (15 x 1000) / 300 = 50

The motor's labelled up as 100:1.That means it WILL run right on 100:1, even if someone tells you to run it on 50:1.
THE PROBLEM IS NOT YOUR FUEL MIX.
THE PROBLEM IS NOT YOUR FUEL MIX.
THE PROBLEM IS NOT YOUR FUEL MIX.
If anyone tells you that your engine is cutting out in neutral because you're using the correct fuel mix they don't know what they're talking about.

checked mine tonight, 50/1 . BUT it is newer than the OP's so I guess the merc dealer was wrong about them being the same for the last few years if 2 years before they are 100/1.
