naff pump drive me finks

why would this fail so early in life?

The oil pump drive is the weak link it's prone to failure . The oil pump shaft is metal and the drive is composite/ plastic and wears out and fails causing major engine damage .

chuff me that engines well toasted

time for oil block off then me finks,
am i right in saying it is recommended to fit and leave an oil drive thinger me jig on the crank even tho its not being used as it causes some kind of vortex or sumat in crank case?

vapour clean then inspection before fitting this

I always had them removed , never made any difference .

roofer many thanks fore your input,
machinist just called all is well
should i wack a full set of new pistons in there or just 1 side?

my 135 i changed the lot for a sensible price but was advised should of just bored + changed damaged ones only

stuff it will enquire for new set all in do not want to do a half assed job
