Mercury seapro 55 HP

Hi

Ive found a bargain on one of these engine, is there anything i should know before buying one ?

I think the 55hp share the same block as the 60, so making it 60HP should not be too hard ?

Of the top of my head to make it a sixty you will require, 1/a sixty horse power carburettor.From the same serial number range. I think the throat size is different.
2/a different propeller.
All should be checked using a parts list for that OBM
