Mercury Trim/tilt sender.

Does anyone know where I can source a trim sensor for my yr. 2000 Merc 90 4st.? It was supplied with the engine so I presume it's a Merc product.

Current one has given up through water ingress. (Yet another thing I should have inspected and didn't) It never was perfect, but it did work after a fashion most of the time and I'd like to replace it.

Your Merc dealer should be able to source one if not in stock, we have it in stock but I do not have price on hand but could check in the morning if you want me to

Trouble is, they're almost as inaccessible as you are in Iceland.

Call ed at my nearest (35 miles) 'dealer' looking for an oil filter. 'Is it a Yamaha engine', he said. 'Yes, Yam powerhead', I said. OK. When I got there, no Merc of Quicksilver stuff at all that I could see. Next nearest dealer 120 miles.

What I was hoping for was to find an on line supplier.
