What didn't you believe? The Americans like massive tiller steered engines for getting to their fishing marks first in competitions but still leaving the deck uncluttered by consoles etc.

They may have no Gun Control, but considering the amount of smart-arsed remarks made on here about them, I'd have to say that they have remarkable Self Control. You guys really need to get over WW2 and move on...

The tiller still links to the power steering so It's no different than have a helm station in that respect...
