I stood next to one of the Merc 150s the other day and it looks HUGE.
Maybe it was just the height it was sitting at as the rib was on a trailer but the first thing that struck me was its size.

it is a cracking looking engine for sure and certainly looks the biz on that yellow RC.
also interested in performance info on a rib. my old 100 mariner efi 4 stroke was very very frugal but it did lack torque, sure this will not be the same with the capacity.

Yeah, I dropped off an engine hoist thursday as he couldn't get time to lift my engine, so he gave me a loan of his....top man.
Booked in for service end of this month before err.
I'm rushing about to get everything ready. My steering is knackered so I had to get hoist, raise engine up, GOTO loch Lomond and test height. Take steering off and send it back and take the hoist back. I hope my steering is back in time, I did warn them.
