Hi all, the emergency switch assembly on the NA12s remote had stopped working, and I wanted to replace it. Several of the bolts attaching the unit to the boat were corroded, and had to be drilled out. Similar story with the back plate screws.
Short story - drilled them out and removed the switch, but while doing so the control unit fell over and the cams etc all moved, including 2 small brass cylinders falling out. Unfortunately I did not think of taking a photo, as I did not expect the unexpected
Does anyone have a schematic of how it assembles? I have had a Google and looked on YouTube but cannot find anything. The boat is going in to the local marine shop next month to get the helm replaced, so I think they could probably put it back for me, but would like to do it beforehand. Thanks.
