No special instruments required, although it can be connected to a Lowrance LMF-400 gauge or a modern chartplotter to show fuel economy and engine hours as well as trim, rpm etc. You need a Suzuki/Lowrance adaptor called an EP-20 to convert the engine data NMEA2000. There have been some threads recently about this. http://www.rib.net/forum/showthread.php?t=34852

Hi there Max
I've bought one myself but I haven't got the boat yet unfortunatley, I should be picking it up next week hopefully! I did test drive one at the Southampton boat show and it's a great engine! It comes with the usual gauges( tilt and revs) but the engine is nmea 2000 compatible and I'm hooking it upto either a garmin 750 or lowrance chartplotter.. The gauges and sensors you can have are endless.. Fuel levels.. Fuel flow.. Fuel range...
