New Fuel Lines

I’m in the process of changing the fuel lines on my XS600 to ISO spec.

Before I start has anyone done this before? Any tips to get the new line through the ducting?

I already have some string through the ducting that I can pull through with but my thinking was to attach the new line to the old with an inline contractor and pull through with the help of some cooking oil.

I did my gear and throttle cables last year, and just taped old to new with Duck tape and pulled them through.

As well as tape tying a string from one to the other is important in case the tape comes loose.

There is a special knot used to secure either end and I feature this on my You Tube Video on wiring a boat.
