New helm for cable steering?

Alright guys,

I'm currently offshore and thinking about treating myself to a better quality helm. I've currently got a cable steering yamaha 90. Are the helms a universal fit?

cheers,

Si

hi mate,

i would think a non feedback helm would be the way to go without going hydraulic.

i had no issues with mine on my old boat.

if you're thinking of hydraulic then i don't think it is worth the extra wedge for the HP you need it for.

cheers
