And a 175, too, on the same block. Which makes the 150 a tad lardy compared to the Suzi 140, which presumably it's intended to replace
And they're bringing out a new 2.5hp in 2006 in case anyone's interested....................Taxi!
check out my other thread on here for more specific info
the 175 version is looking like a cool engine to have
a friend has a 140, infact his second and it is sweet as a nut, i have spoken with dealers on the 150 and they raved about it for being very fast and frugal
It is in Rib magazine at the moment ( or was it last edition?)
It is going to be heavy & I think there was something about the 140 being tuned down to 135 or something like that!
From memory, isn't the Suzi 140 just slightly optimistically named, as it outputs just over 130hp? I guess that with the introduction of a new 150, the cunning marketing department will just re-name the existing range so that hey presto, they look good against one of their main competitors (ie Honda).
Mind you, everyone with a Suzi 140 seems well pleased with it. Someone made a comment recently about a commercial boat having their first mechanical problems with their twin Suzi 140s with 1200 hours on each!
