Interesting pedigree - company later became Minardi. Engine a joint design between an ex Alfa engineer and Subaru which explains the boxer layout - Alfa also used to do boxer engines.

Good job it's not a twin spark. Having said that most aero engines were and some were up to about 60 cylinders - imagine gapping 120 spark plugs!!!

Just seen that someone does a 112 cylinder diesel radial - weighs 17 tons and puts out 10,000hp - wild..............
