Well a update on the current problem

After completely overhauling the boat I got it on the water and was horrible very flighty and slammed like a right sod.

Didn't even get close to WOT so no chance of chine walking.

But decided to take advice of previous posts and put some sandbags up in the bow to test some bow weight 80kg in total and took the boat out for a test rag.

And right from the off it was a completely different boat felt planted in the water not skipping along the surface like before

Could take the solent chop a lot easier not excessively slamming all the time like before and also could use a lot more power once the wind died down in the evening. (But unfortunately more power meant less fuel in the tank at the end of the day)

So big positive now just have to build some sort of locker up front to house the anchor and warp and some weight if needed.

Thanks for the suggestions before helped enormously

Sat eve popped into warsash for a pint and chips

I think I warned you .. you have her looking very tidy though looks good with the seats as they are ... I'm pleased to see my careful ownership has been passed down to her present owner

Dunno about that looks like there may have been a couple of owners between you and me and was in a poor state when got her.

Pics of damage to hull.

But hull repairs all done now by a very highly skilled mate

And then completely overhauled the inside all new electrics complete flowcoat everywhere and also glassed in the rear seats as there was more holes than Swiss cheese in the back deck.

So filled them in and then glassed over the top.
