Well a update on the current problem
After completely overhauling the boat I got it on the water and was horrible very flighty and slammed like a right sod.
Didn't even get close to WOT so no chance of chine walking.
But decided to take advice of previous posts and put some sandbags up in the bow to test some bow weight 80kg in total and took the boat out for a test rag.
And right from the off it was a completely different boat felt planted in the water not skipping along the surface like before
Could take the solent chop a lot easier not excessively slamming all the time like before and also could use a lot more power once the wind died down in the evening. (But unfortunately more power meant less fuel in the tank at the end of the day)
So big positive now just have to build some sort of locker up front to house the anchor and warp and some weight if needed.
