Nothing to hold throttle/gear cable

Have been bolting on my honda 45 and went to install the cables only to find there was nothing to hold them down. Looks like there should be some sort of plate?

Any knowledge or links to one would help me out a lot !

Looks like the cable plate. Item 35 on this diagram. Part number 40151-ZV5-000ZA. Double check yourself, based on your outboard year and code for correct part. You'll need the stainless steel bolts too (usually 10mm) hex heads.

1997 Honda Outboard Parts

Should be able to order from Honda dealer local to you.
