yet again after your wealth of knowledge guys,

just got back from cruising bristol channel nice and warm not,
give her some stick not to much really used approx £40.00 in fuel and a gallon off oil was needed to top the tank back up. it was full b4 i left this morn so looking like 40 squid equals gall oil .this aint right surely? pre mix would never equal that @ 50:1 mix, nice to know the oil is being pumped round the engine though

45mph is showing 5000rpm , not really sure what the red line is on this engine, wondering if i am running the right prop for the job tis a nice laser 2 jobby though so i am sure it was bought wisely by the previous owner and does top out at 58mph not a gps reading though @ full wonka........ again i am not sure what the rpm is there though, didnt sound like it was reving its nuts off though.
any advise yet again gr8tly appreciated.

according to manual on 3 gallons of oil you get 8.7 hours of continual running,so you are looking at 3 hours running per gallon of oil.
wot on your engine is between 5000 and 5600 rpm

roofer thanx for your imput, oil seems right then and must be @ the right prop for the boat then, av a gr8 new year ands plenty a time on the water
