Oil/Temp warning buzzer on Mercury 80 !

Hi,
Sorry, new to this forum so not sure if this is reply OK as did a 'quick reply' before but just trying to get used to things ?

Have got a similar problem as a previous 'Mariner 90 oil warning' post with my 90's 3 cyl Mercury 80. Have replaced the temp sensor and disconnected the oil sensor as per manual diagnostics but warning buzzer still going off so think I really need a warning module.
Any chance the Mercury 90 and 80 modules are the same or best place to get one second hand ?

I have been in touch with someone who has suggested to disconnect the module and do away with the oil injection pump and tank and work off premix 50:1 but not sure how the temp sensor is going to work ? I would prefer to get everything working as original if possible as I am sure oil injection is working as using some premix for first run and engine is pretty smoky and plenty of oil in test tub from exhaust !

Any help advice greatly appreciated

Oil/Temp warning buzzer on Mercury 80 !

Is it low oil level or pressure is it three bleeps or one long bleep. I had the same problem on my Mariner 150 two years ago. It was s fault in the wiring. Have you checked all wires and sensors.
Give A1an a PM he had same problem I think but he does no that engine.
