Yes, the same America where the three main car giants including Ford, GM and Chrysler have gone cap-in hand for a $15billion loan. With the best part of 2,000hp on his boat - he could have at least bought a decent pair of shorts!

those oudboards are lighter than 1 x 2000 hp diesel or 2 x 1000 hp diesel + with outboards you have more free deck space + the outboards are probably also less expensive than the diesel engines + drives.
