opti battery cables

connecting battery cables at engine end, live is onto the solenoid but its not immediatley obvious where to connect the earth lead does it go on the solenoid also or somewhere else?

Stumped me for a while when rigging mine as well

There's 4 mounting bolts holding the starter motor, negative cable goes on the lower forward bolt
