Optimax sensors

Greetings All
I have just bean out on our new boat. It has a 2005 150 opti, scanning through the smart gauge screens I noticed no oil pressure/temp??? is there a sensor for this on the engine ?
I did read in the Gauge manual that not all engine in the 115-175 group have them.
Or shall I start to get worried?

RR

All the smartcraft info is user selectable. If you get a user manual for the gauges it'll show you how to select and deselect all the different info.
online manual here:

It's a 2 stroke.
You don't have oil pressure on 2 strokes

Doh

What a nugget I am! lol
First Opti engine I have owned!
Thought it strange but with all the techno wizardry on it wasn't too sure!
Have noticed that the oil tank level only reads 2.8lt even though I can see 10 lts in there?
Any ideas?

sometimes the float sensor can stick which happened to me, or it needs recalibrating.

This happened to me also - the float arm needs to swing from towards the centre of the tank otherwise it fouls on the wall and will nor register

Chaps thank you for your help. Ran out of time to check it out the other day.

Richard, what prop are you running on your boat? I have a Laser 2 21p seemed a little reluctant to rev out?
Cheers
