Outboard tank connectors

Hi all,
For my tender...
I have a Mariner 40hp 2Stroke. Currently the fuel hose is connected directly to the tank (fuel hose fits into a male connection which is removable, held with a jubilee clip) and then the Mariner connector at the engine.

I'm fitting a fuel / water separator so I will need to put a connector at the tank end as everything else will be permanently hosed up (So that I can remove the tank to re-fill)

I seem to have awful trouble trying to find a connector 'kit' ie. male & female connector.

I guess the real issue is that i'm looking for something like the circular quick-release that Tohatsu supply with their out-boards (they've never given me bother).

I took the plastic connector (which connects straight to the pipe with a jubilee clip) off the tank today and it looks like I need to replace it with a 1/2" male thread.

I guess the main question is, anyone know where I can find such a connector 'kit', or should I just go with the old fashioned '2 prong' (if that makes sense) connector?

Do you mean something like this?

suzuki fuel checks.jpg

Available here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-OU.../313200331263?

Be sure to always buy in sets of male & female as there are several that look the same but dont connect together.

Lots of other sellers, I just picked that because of the photo.

EXACTLY what i'm looking for, thank you!

How I couldn't find that, who knows?! I was searching for Tohatsu, mind.

Thanks again... going to take the chance on the male thread fitting into the tank... I'll take a pic but I think it's a generic brand tank.
