Parts for my Mercury 75

Hello,

I've just bought my first RIB, I should have got one years ago!!! :-) I'm new to this site so "Hello" all! I'm going to give the boat a good overhaul over the winter to clean it up. I'll strip my Mercury 2 stroke 75 (1997ish I think) and I was wondering where is the best place to get spares? Preferably UK based for postage etc.

Thanks in advance! Rich

I always use Key Parts in Watford great service and keen prices.

Always worth doing it all yourself.

Good luck

Dave

Thanks Cpt sideways. I have gearbox issues at the moment, it won't engage in reverse, just makes an awful grinding noise. How do I know if my engine is the same as the 90 one? Thanks

Pretty sure the box is the same unit, sounds like yours is the dog clutch (had same issues)

Go on cowley marine with your engine code & that will reveal what its the same as.

ETA noticed your Southampton, I can bring a box along with me as I'm off the IOW from Calshot Wed/Thu

Give me a bell in the morning if you like 07970642129 Declan

I'm going to strip the g/box next week and see what's up. If it's unrepairable then I'll give you a call to discuss your bits. I live in Lymington but half own the boat with my brother in law who lives Hythe so we mostly launch at Calshot. I'll keep an eye out for you. What boat do you have?

This'll be my first launch at Calshot, possibly not the last - It's bright yellow you can't miss it
