Wiseco make forged pistons for lots of stuff-If they are forged then for that reason alone I'd go with Wiseco as it's a well known good quality make in the automotive world.
However, if you're not changing all of them buy OEM.

wiseco pistons are forged and need to run a different clearance then standard pistons
ive used them a lot in racing 2stroke bike engines especialy larger capacity 500cc singles.
they seem to last longer and take more abuse than anything else .
standard type pistons seem to crack or drop pieces of skirt when they start to get a bit worn this as you no is bad news. on my suzuki lt engine i used to have to change oe pistons every 20 hrs to eliminate failure or cracking the only advantage with these oe's is they are slightly lighter.i run the wiseco pistons for about 60 hrs with no probs and ive never had a failure these engines are under extreme stress 70 hp from 500cc .
if you have a engine thats not been rebored the wiseco will run in easily and you can get away with a little more bore wear than the oe or cast piston .
ps check that the pistons have the same design ie sometimes forged pistons have no cavity on outside near gudgeon pin and some oe pistons do if your transfer ports fall in line with this cavity it can slightly effect port timing and last of all they sound a bit noisy especially during warm up (extra clearance) id go forged every time..

I have all the details regarding both pistons, btw Nick Korneff of Propelled Marine is a great guy to deal with. I went for SeaCross who are manufactured for Yamaha and for my motor.I do not run it high so is as good as anything else and cheaper than the Wisecos.

OK price was never the issue (is only about 10US difference $94 the Wisecos and $82 the SeaCross any way ... ). For the use I do on my boat SEACROSS apparently are the more appropriate pistons. Further more with Wisecos, I believe that you know this, you need a little more clearance on the cylinders as the expand when they get warmed up, since I am not re-boring the motor it was safer to stay with SEACROSS, if and when I re-bore it will put Wisecos for sure
