What about the stainless tanks that are on ebay for sale?

Are vetus plastic fuel tanks any good?

If you can get a plastic tank to fit I would definitely go this route. In my mind, the only reason to use stainless, or aluminum is to make a custom size/shape where plastic doesn't fit.
