Practical Race Engine!!

New Optimax 225 Pro XS delivers more raw power and rpm than the standard 225 OptiMax, while sacrificing nothing in the way of fuel economy or warranty. Comes with low water pick-ups and is tuned to squeeze every bit of horsepower out of the engine.

So i'm guessing this is Mercury's answer to the Yammy V-Max. I wonder will it produce more power than it says like the V-Max. Here's hoping

Certainly looks nice!! With XS decals would look nice on the back of an XS-Rib!!

Shame there is no class to race it in in Europe - 200 HP or multiples thereof only I'm afraid - that would put this engine in a 400 HP class!
