Product Recall - Quicksilver Fuel Filter

Anyone else had an email regards Quicksilver fuel filters? Some were badged as Mercury. Effects specific period May 3 - 17 August 2023. Although it's a Australian government recall - these filters were sold worldwide.

Issue: Fuel filter may not seal properly on the 'o' ring causing fire hazard.

From experience, I use a little engine oil to seal and the ****** never comes off when I come to replace. Pair of wide angle grips and a little brut force shifts it.

Will check tonight and see if there's anything. Any petrol likely to have evaporated. My filter lives under the console on my 4.8 right opposite the battery (which is in a battery box).
