Prop for Mariner 40hp 2 stroke

Anyone help with new prop for our club inflatable?

Our club inflatable's prop came off second best in an argument with a pebble beach.

The numbers on the old prop are 48.8563 2A40L 11P

Can anyone decipher these numbers into a new prop or give me a part number?

That's a Mercury/Mariner part number. Use a dash instead of a dot and you will be able to find more information on the net using 48-85632A40

The part number is 48-85632A40 L 11P (which is 11 pitch). Check the number of splines and the diameter of the hub part for correct match.

Don't know if they will, but the RNLI used to have 40hp mariners on all the D-class inshore lifeboats. and every boat had a spare prop, plus supplies kept in stores etc,

you might be lucky and be able to buy some off them!!

Don't know if they will help you or not, or if they still have them in stock, but then, if you dont try, you'll never find out!!
