Prop pitch

Does anyone know what the best pitch prop is for a Mariner 40. The engine is going on the back of a 4metre rib with a semi v hull. It's a second hand engine and has been supplied with a 10.5. This seems quite low to me, i've not had that much experience with this size engine so any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

sorry to thread hi-jack but after doing a search on 'prop' on the forum i have subsequently read all 165 threads
