Prop recommendations please

Afternoon gentle men.

So, had a fairly good run in the new (to me) Zodiac 530DL + Suzuki 115hp 4 stroke.

On a river. Water running at 4 knots.

3 adults, dog and about 50l of fuel.

Upstream 34 knots WOT 6000rpm on gauge

Down 39 knots WOT 6000rpm on gauge

So I need a new prop, old one has a few dinks.

Currently a 14 x 19

The boat will very rarely be heavily loaded. Will spend most of it's time coastal, estuary use.

Someone threw in I could loose a few hundred rpms and maybe a 4 blade would be better for my use. Giving me much better slow speed handling.

Any one with experience of said engine, boat size combo want to guide me a little rather than wasting money on guess work?

Oh, 7 knot to 34 knot hole shot was about 14 secs.

Don't need that at all. :-)

wot at 6000 rpms sounds like its propped perfectly .tbh any bigger than a 19p on a 115 is going to be too big if you put a 21p on you will probably bring your wot down to 5400-5600 rpm and lose holeshot and top speed. i have a 4 blade spitfire on my mercury 115 and it gives great holeshot at the expense of a couple of knots top end but does grip better and i very rarely run flat out and i look for a nice 25 or so knot cruising speed.sea conditions rarely give a comfortable ride flat out anyway

Any advantage in a stainless prop same as the current one?

Couple of downsides to s/s are if you hit something they don't bend as easily so a lot of the shock will be transferred to the gears & the extra weight gives a bit of a 'clunk' as you engage gear.

Stainless props usually perform better than comparable ally props due to their increased efficiency and tendancy to be a better profile. Ive not noticed extra clunky gearchanges personally & I'd usually prefer a stainless prop for higher performance applications. Usually a good upgrade imho.
If you dont use the prop for depth finding you wont suffer any damage����
