Hi Has anyone got a used solas saturn stainless steel prop suitable for my zapcat. Ideally a 13 or 14 pitch.
Thanks Gary

For which motor ? Assume that you're running an Alum prop ?

Hi. I've been using a 15 pitch semi cleaver powertech when the engine was fitted on my thundercat but now I have a Aquarius I need a larger bladed lower pitched prop.
Thanks Gary

You will need to be more precise, the shafts the props fit onto have different amounts of teeth and diameter. Normally the change point is around 70 hours with most engines, below might be 13 spline above 15.

Also going from a 13x15 Yamaha aluminium I had to drop two inches of pitch when purchasing a solas ss, so went to a 13x13 solas which brought my rpm up slightly but increased performance at all rpm, holeshot was greatly improved.

An aquarius is a thundercat, thundercat is just the name of the style of boat. The 15p powertech should work alright as an all round prop, if you're not getting enough RPM I've got 14p semi cleavers which are ideal for thundercats. Can also get 13p semi cleavers

After speaking to steel developments and Janes tapp they both agree for my useage on the Aquarius the solas would be a better prop due to larger blades etc. I water ski a lot and just need a little more pick up less cavitation and stern lift. Apparently the powertech semi cleaver is a stern lift prop.
