Question about winter storage

Please could people comment & judge if this seems a good deal.

Last winter I was new to boating & my boat stayed on the water, and in use most weeks throughout the winter, including one time breaking ice around it to get going!

This coming winter I've gone a bit soft, and planning to winter store it. Someone who trades in boats is offering for £500 to :- 1) store it for 4 months, 2) slipway it out of and back into the water & trailer it a few miles to and from his base for me, 3) steam clean the base, 4) give the outboard a full service.

Does this sound a good deal and what questions should I be asking ? You're always a big help on this forum so thanks once again in advance, Ivan

£500 seems a little hefty to me, but then I'm storing in my own garage. Questions you want to ask are:

Is it going to be dry-stored - or simply will it be in a field covered with a tarpaulin?

The service - I'd want this defined so you know what's included. Some dealers may service then engine, change gear oil, engine oil (if 4-stroke), sparks, fuel filter and grease nipple points. Personally I'd want the impeller changed as a matter of course, certainly every 2 years depending on hours used.
