Quicksilver Premium Plus 2-Cycle Oil
Is this the right oil for an Optimax?

No, you need the DFI oil, much more expensive.

Bollocks.... IMO TCW3 is the standard. Since the internal comustion engine has not changed much over many years, neither will the oil that lubes it.. save for detergents, and anti corrosion agents etc.. and thats all the dealers are trying to sell you .. something more expensive... Any TCW3 oil is good enough for optimax
