RC 585-DF140 Prop?

What is the best prop for a Ribcraft 585 with a DF140, I currently have a brand new 3x14x21p on there.

I'm looking to do a long cruise soon so any advise would be appreciated.

It depends, do you normally run lightly loaded or carrying lardy arsed divers & their kit? You need to prop so that you can achieve WOT with your normal loading. I used to run a 21p stainless prop on my 585 with a 175hp FICHT, this got me 5800rpm. As a very rough guide, an inch in pitch = 200rpm, similarly a stainless prop will run 200rpm faster than a similar ally prop. As I said these are very approximate, just before anyone jumps in asking for proof
