AFAIK Lee Fairweather at Fairweather Marine comes well recommended http://www.fairweathermarine.co.uk

Haven't used him myself, but he seems to have a v. good reputation.

Would be better if he knew about outboards

You could try IMS Marine on 01243-542632 or Ron Hale Marine on 02392-732985.

Lee Fairweather at Fareham, had my engine serviced a couple of weeks ago and was very pleased with the results and seem to be a friendly bunch.

Ditto. Excellent service from Keith and his new premises at Northeney Marina should prove worthwhile once he gets up and running after his recent move from Sparkes.

Nice boat.
If it was week before last, next to his temporary portacabin at Northeney, then yes it may have been. She is nice, it was a lucky buy on Ebay, as Lurcher keeps reminding me from time to time, as it was he who sent me the link to the ad in the first place!

For a first RIB I have not been disappointed. Most notable thing is how little water ships inboard. I took her Penzance to Scilly last summer, F5 with what I felt was a reasonable sea running, however all the kit stowed inboard for a 3 week stay was bone dry. I had been assured by 2 other departing ribs on the same morning that I could expect to arrive there pretty wet.

Should be out Chichester/Pompey/Solent this weekend if anyones around and wants to say hello!

Good pics

You will notice in the background of pic 1 that the Tide gauge is visible this is just opposite the lifeboat staion at Hayling and the speed limit is 8knots !!! Outandabout's boat rides very high at that speed do you think he should trim down ?or is he going a wee bit faster . I think we should know . Arrowflyte cleared finals Rose & Crown this p.m.?

I don't think we'd catch him anyway - but the speed guns would

I've also heard that the Chi Harbour men issue speed tickets not just advice like what we does

Wot? Me? Not me surely? Must be a stitch up. All I remember are the words "Follow Me" from Lurcher, as I took note of his experienced eye and sound boat handling skills and valiantly tried to follow. Even managed to take a pic of his wake

I was in the Rose and Crown, just got back, where were thee?
