Refitting a tiller to a Mariner 30HP

Hi guys (again!)

I've come across a Mariner 30HP on eBay that is close to me for a reasonable price (and it runs!). Trouble is it's set up for remotes but from the pictures it appears to have had a tiller fitted before it was used on remotes. My question is, is it possible to refit the tiller (if I got it)? I have a Mariner 15hp on a tiller than is the same year as the one I'm looking at. Could I perhaps use that? The 15hp is scrap and I will be selling it for parts anyway any help appreciated!!!

TBH I am not sure if you 15hp tiller will fit or not, so what I can do if it helps is measure my tiller arm on my Yamaha/Mariner 25hp 2 stroke for you tomorrow, assuming that would fit, again not 100% its a mid 80s

You can then check the measurements of my tiller against your 15.
