Removing Mercury Prop Shaft

Does anyone know what I need to take off in order to remove a fairly recent Mercury 60hp prop shaft, like the gear shift and drive shaft etc. - and how stiff should the carrier assembly be.

Maybe if I need to ask I should't be doing it but have had striped yamaha gearboxes without any dramas.

Remove the 2 nuts from the bearing carrier and usually you need a puller to get them off. Can be pretty tight.
