Replacement Cowl

I am looking for a replacement cowl that Tohatsu list as no longer available. The engine is a Tohatsu M25c3 25HP 2 Stroke. I think it's a 2010.

There is only ONE on ebay with a crack in it for £400!
I just can't find anything else and wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I have 2 of these engines and feel like I might have to try and make a mold from the other one and try and make one!

Thanks

Have you tried other engine manufacturers to see if its a common part and they still stock it?

Early Tohatsu engines were often rebranded. For example the 50 is a Merc/Mariner/Yamaha but the block is made by Nissan!

Also why not check out the Ribcraft Owners Group?

Yes. I have read that but the other way round. Tohatsu made the engines for themselves and Nissan Marine. These engines were also rebranded as Mercury and Mariner. Either way the cowl could be common to all the 25/30 HP models.
Not sure how Yamaha fits into the picture but will certainly check.
