Replacing PTT

HELP!!!

Hi all im just trying to replace the PTT on my mariner outboard and have become stuck!! There seems to be a pin on the ram connected to the engine which i do not seem to be able to move, i cant gain acces from the other side does anyone have any ideas????

pin

There is normally a small pin(trilobe) that runs through it to stop the main pin from coming out. The small pin has a head on it so can only be drifted out one way. The small pin is mostly put in from the top??? i think

Have located the pin but not going to move!!! Think its time for some heat on there!!!
