Rope round prop. Ouch!

Just pulled this out of a gearbox on a hire boat after becoming tangled in its own mooring line. Nasty. Engine is a 1 month old 9.9 fourstroke.

Its a Mariner, the rubber hub in the prop would protect the gearbox when the prop strikes an object, obviously not so effective against being entangled in rope. Normally I'd expect the engine to stall.
