Service your auxilliary
Worth looking at your auxilliary engine. Especially small engines. I've never used this engine (Mariner 4hp 2-stroke) in anger, but I flush it after every trip. The waterpump channels in the alloy block seem to clog up with salt crystals. To be honest, I expected this, but definately worth checked before the season starts and risk engine overheating issues.
I change the impeller and gear oil every 2 years. Gear oil was fine, as was the impeller, so fine for another year.
