Servicing Costs for Volvo D6 winter maintenance ?

What cost would be "normal" for a winter servicing for a Volvo D6 engine ? The oil, coolant, filters, impellor and anodes were replaced. How many hours would/could you expect to be charged ?
Would apreciate your experience/feedback on this one. Thanks

Not sure how different the D6 would be but I am sure it will be similar....

I had a quote for my KAD44 from a proper Volvo agent - winterise, service (filters, oils, anodes and outdrive) and de-winterise - £1300!

I decided to do it myself for £250 for the parts. Not only that, but I could get the parts (genuine Volvo) cheaper from one of the places in the back of the magazines than he was going to charge "at cost"!!

Just be careful you are not violating any warranty by not having it done within the Volvo network.

The prices authorised agents charge is just unbelievable.

Thanks for the information. Do you have any idea how many work hours they quoted and how many hours you spent on it ?

Not sure how many hours quoted, but I know they charge £45-50 per hour and that the parts are about £300 so you can work it out. There was 1 or 2 hours travelling in that as well.

At the end of the day, for £1000 I don't care if it takes me all week!!!!
