Setback plates

Hi guys,
I'm thinking of putting a 8" setback plate on my little 4.20 joker rib. Engine will be a 40hp etec. Well all in all my boat specs and setback plate's specs all support this idea but I am curious if my transom will be ok with this project.
As you've already thought, a 20cm extension plate will put much more torque on the transom and manufacturer is giving a rating for 60hp (weight not stated).
What do you say? is it logical?

the item is something like this.
