Probably worth ringing them, he's not on often now-too busy working!

You don't need pallet, just book on parcels to go as only 10 kg and you only need pay 10 pounds

Likely to get damaged if as parcel, pallets the safest way for sure.

Google "online pallet". There's a company called that who will palletise for £10 extra, if you can get the seller to put it on a pallet (can pick them up for free as most industrial estates) I can get it arranged for uplift/delivery for as little as £45 next day (mainland) through our account, not sure they will put it on pallet though

The engine is in north Wales.

I will ask the guy if he is willing to find a half pallet but I don't want to annoy them too much for sake of eBay feedback.

Cheers

Half pallet refers to the height, not pallet size

+1 Last time I used them was for delivering a table saw and 20kg 4x4 tyre to NE Scotland both items cost £12 ea, despite the weight difference, and arrived safe n sound the next day. see if the seller could wrap it up in bubble wrap or cardboard and you can arrange pickup through there website. thats if you can't do it through any members on here of course.

Top tip from Codprawn/Speedshift!

Whichever you do, get the seller to stick a small empty box on the upper side of the package. It stops vanmen from trying to place another pallet/package on top.
