Short or longshaft?

Hello!

Could anyone tell me if this is a short(15 inch) or long(20 inch) shaft.?

Also posted it in my "buying a inflatable topic". But think this the right place.

Bit hard to tell from the photo, looks like its a short , best thing is to measure the distance from the bottom of the skeg to where the transom sits on the clamp that will give you a better idea, hope it helps. dont worry about your writing its better than most on here.

Shaft length isn't measured from the bottom of the skeg, it's measured from the anti ventilation plate to the clamp.

Maybe its better to see on this image:

The person behind the outboard(my strange looking brother(A)) is about 1.73m tall.

Hope you can help me out...

Still thinking that the shaft is so long...

Just measured it, its about 42 cm. (16.54 inch). Maybe a bit more or less. But it dont come near the 20 inch

Just found a perfect image! IT shows the size of the whole outboard. I measured mine and it had the same size as the Short shaft model on the drawing

yes your right i havent had the need to measure one for years regards m.
