SR Marine

Has anyone got a current address for SR marine or Stan Gillem? I think he has moved or something. He used to have a lot of S/H Stern Powr stuff, has anyone bought from his recently?

Des

Des, you could try extreme marine in Southampton. Probably the easiest way of getting hold of Jamie is sending an e mail to him on boat and outbaords. He is selling the yellow p24 at the moment.

Don't know, but I do know that he used to re-furb P22 outdrives for the RN and I think he has some spare kit.

Hi Des
if it was him, he has done a bunk abroad i think so a freind tells me, his work shop has now been taken over by A.N.Other.
I could make enquiries as to what is left in the workshop as he only took his tools.
I have also met a chap who work's for the navy refurbishing there RiB's etc, is there anything inparticular you are after ????

I'm after a spare prop and I heard that he had some at around the £200 mark. If he has gone abroad was he being chased?

Props are £300 from lancing which is expensive. Don't know if Steel Developements can do something. Or my boat came with an odd prop with "PP" stamped on it. This might stand for Poole Propellors, but haven't been down that route yet.

Certainly we need to find a cheap source for all the P22 owners on here.

What Size is yours?

MY Prop size is 16.75" x 21"pitch Left hand Originally called an SMC807 made by Michigan wheel. They no longer make this model and could not offer an alternative.

I think you have tried different sizes but my one seems OK, I get 28 knots (gps) but this might be because the reduction in my Outdrive is 1.26:1 and not as original which was 1.32:1. There again prop, pitch and speed just seems to be such a black art you get a different view from everyone you talk to.
