SR4 max engine spec

Folks what is the official engine spec weight Hp etc for a SR4 I am looking to change my 30hp mariner non t&t to a full power t&t around 40hp and want to keep it real. Also still looking for a engine if you have one. G

50hp but others have put more I believe, we did have a 55hp if I remember right!

Olly on here ran a 60hp yam triple I believe.

They're rated to 50hp. A 2 stroke Tohatsu or Yam would be the way to go for max performance.

50 max i do have mariner 60 oi short shaft if you want be fastest in ireland

and here is she is....

the SR4 an epic boat...... led on too many great things, but the sr4 is totally in a league of its own!

With 50hp. being the max, I would have thouight putting a 60 on would invalidate your insurance.

Porthcawl insurance where fine with it, it weighs the same as a 50 - just carbs and timing different
