Stainless Steel Prop Guards

Does anyone know of anyone in the UK who supplies stainless steel or alloy prop guards?

I am aware of the disadvantages with prop guards. It is for small outboards on a large boat operating at displacement speeds.

Special Products at Barrus do a lovely one, but it is also a lovely price, and I have tried the plastic ones from BHG and they are useless.

I have found a few in Australia and NZ, and these ones:

propeller guards for boats and inflatable boats

Any in the UK?

Are they like the ones the zapcat racers use ?

The only 'decent' ones I've seen are the ones they use - maybe a contact phone number of email if you have a google of their racing details . I'm sure they have a website . Probably not cheap , but they do seem quality and able to withstand what they throw at them .

Thanks, found them, they are more than the barrus ones once shipped over here.

May look into getting a local fabricator to make a couple up, as I would like to incorporate a rudder as well. They are for 9.9 fourstokes mariners, and most I've found are too big anyway.

There is a guy here (Sydney Australia) that supplies outboards to the surf rescue boats and takes the old ones in as trade ins. He may have some. Don't know about suitability to your motor but I can get you an email address if you want to PM me.
