starting problems

Just been out in rib for second time, i have a 2 stoke mariner 60ELPTO year 2003.
Engine once started runs fine, just had it service last month.fuel seems ok ,engine turns over but does not fire/ spark plugs NGK BP8H wondering if gap is corrrect ,i am getting a
spark ,wondering if it could be something silly before i take it back to engineer which will be a pain.Could it be a Timing Problem? After taking it out today for about 2 hours after finally
getting it started recovered on trailer and went to flush engine guess what , could not start
up again , took me 40 min to get going again.Any one got any idea, advice appreciated.

Clean the carbs out and make sure the fuel bulb is pumped hard. It won't be timing.

If it's got warranty, take it back anyway.

Plug gaps correct (40 thou for me) - tick
Plugs tightened correctly - tick
Fresh fuel in tank - tick
Air vent in petrol tank open - tick
Primer bulb hard - tick
Battery master switch on - tick
Throttle in neutral - tick
Ignition on - tick
Starter turns - tick
Kill cord in - whoops - happens to me at least once a year (it's not a problem when I'm in the boat, but easy to forget when I'm in the garage) ...

Silly questions -
- is your choke off (hot engine + choke = difficult to start) ?
- is your kill cord switch reliable (if you jiggle the kill cord when the engine is running does it cut out) ?
- are your spark plug leads in good condition ?

I agree with Nos4r2 - if it's just been serviced then take it back and find out what is wrong (it worked before and doesn't now ...)

try pulling fuel through from engine, I swapped bulb & had an airlock upstream of bulb in the line. Bulb was hard but the line upstream of bulb was full of compressed air.

I got the solution from this site - top guys! it worked.
