Not to nitpick, but as I recall, Yamaha states that the motor should be tilted such that the drain and fill plugs are directly over one another.

For Tohatsu's, the guide is probably pretty accurate.

jyasaki, hmmm...yes your right.

Ribsters, always check your engine manual if in doubt. I just thought that the article could be useful.
