Clam, they will if there is enough clearance to get the socket in, they are wide bodied, probably a 15 mm spanner. The standard yams are 14mm spanner. The yam external sizes are not standard. If you need to put to sea before they arrive, I'll manage a couple of yammie ones.

Thanks Teccie. The end date for all this is the Anglesey meet in April so time isn't too tight. Yet.

Interesting you should mention the external size of the nut. The nuts that were on there had two different external sizes. I'm guessing the previous owner had just this problem.

Was fine for clearance on both for a socket.

Have you go the old nuts that came off? If so, take them down to Bapp in Brighouse & they will cross match them for you. Knowing Bapp, if you only want the 2, they won't charge you . as it's too much hassle making up the bill. From the piccies, they look too fine to be standard metric.
